In 1980, recognizing the need to serve the U.S. markets and to compete internationally, Hirose established HIROSE ELECTRIC (U.S.A.), INC. in California. HIROSE Electric U.S.A. relocated it's headquarters to Downers Grove, Illinois in 2016. .
